gigz-on Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Yes, but what makes this one special? Two PuVRD RD-13? My YouTube Channel:
SpudmanWP Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Close, PVRD-430. Damn, I knew posting a Russian test plane on a Russian forum would not last long. ;)
gigz-on Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Forum isn't russian, it's international!:) I'm russian;) My YouTube Channel:
SpudmanWP Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 My mistake, the .ru threw me. I just joined yesterday. Your up.
topol-m Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Fighter or trainer? I`m beginning to hate trainer aircraft... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

topol-m Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Give us at least 1 clue. These cockpit questions are among the hardest to answer. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
topol-m Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Nevermind i don`t need clues it`s the MiG-15UTI [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
topol-m Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Wow fast answer. Great  It`s an italian design - Selex Galileo Falco but yes the pakistani are making them too. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Griffin Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 That was the easiest ever. Google pictures ---> "sunset UAV" and Voila! :D Next:
topol-m Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Some clues? What`s with the nose section? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Griffin Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Hmm, I propably should have considered this a bit more. Wikipedia says that the develompnet of this missile was stopped due to high cost. Asking a missile that has never entered service isn't too fair. I'll give a hint: it's "west" European. There is info and pictures about it but if it seems too hard, I will change the question.
topol-m Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 (edited) No problem, we shall try to guess it. Experimental weaponry has also its place in this thread :) Edited September 27, 2009 by topol-m [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Griffin Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Additional hint: It's not Air to Air missile.

topol-m Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 I guess this is very easy to solve 4 u... The rules in this thread: Quote: "Neverending contest (military aviation knowledge). The rules are simple. First to answers correctly posts next question" Griffin`s question hasn`t been answered yet... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
CTR Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 (edited) Griffin`s question hasn`t been answered yet... here the answer -> Armiger http://www.armedforces-int.com/categories/precise-land-targets/guided-missiles.asp The Armiger anti-radar guided missile which is currently being developed within a technology demonstration program has been designed for engaging enemy air defence and ground targets which can be rapidly relocated. Armiger might become the successor to the HARM missile. Small dimensions and low launch mass, high flight velocity (Mach 3) and mission range (up to 200km) as well as precision hit accuracy due to its bispectral seeker and GPS/INS guidance ensure early and reliable elimination of air defence sites. Essential features of this missile are its ARAS seeker head with wide-band radar receiver and IR seeker developed by Diehl BGT Defence in cooperation with EADS for precise terminal attack with direct hit as well as its solid-propellant ramjet for high supersonic flight speed and long range. Armiger can therefore also destroy targets which switch off their radar during the attack or which use electronic countermeasures. Griffin Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Congrats! You got it right! Now it's your turn. I guess you want to ask the one that you already did? :)
topol-m Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 (edited) here the answer -> Armiger Well done  Are you asking what`s the aircraft on the pictures you provided? If yes - maybe F-14? Edited September 27, 2009 by topol-m [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
mvsgas Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 I guess this is very easy to solve 4 u... Sukhoi T-10-1 You can see the landing gear door under the "strake"/Leading edge extension. The wing "fences" and the data probes around the canopy To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
