Griffin Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 (edited) Well, I had no idea about the engine but after about one minute of looking for clues, I noticed the door frames behind the engine. If you have ever played IL-2, you should know what aircraft has door(s?) instead of opening canopy. OMG i`m calling Tokyo :P Yay, Tokyo trip! :D Edited September 30, 2009 by Griffin
Namenlos Ein Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 Actually I want to see exact designation of this Bell airplane model (they all of the same type there). Pictures of this junkyard were taken near abandoned airfield on some of north Kuril islands, perhaps on Paramushir island. From there to Tokyo is about 2100 km (1280 miles) along the straight line. 1
Griffin Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 (edited) That would be the P-63A-6 King Cobra then, or is there even more specific designation? Edited September 30, 2009 by Griffin 2
Namenlos Ein Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 Well done! P-63A Kingcobra should be enough. Your turn.
Griffin Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 (edited) Good one. :) Edited September 30, 2009 by Griffin
mvsgas Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 That would be the P-63A-6 King Cobra then, or is there even more specific designation? LOL  I want to be like you when I grow up  To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
Griffin Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 An old wise man from the mysterious north? Thank god for Wikipedia.. and lack of better things to do. Actually I want to be like you when I grow up. Trying to get to the same business, just need a wee bit of work to get there. :)
