topol-m Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 We definitely running out of planes. I don`t think so. I have 5 questions and I`m just waiting for my turn to ask them one by one. :devil_2: We could move on to body parts of famous centerfolds. that`s gonna be tough [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Namenlos Ein Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 I don`t think so. I have 5 questions and I`m just waiting for my turn to ask them one by one. Questions about different aircraft I suppose? Well, never mind. Next piece of military art:
zakobi Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 we've had that one before. Can't remember it's name, but there was something about too much drag when shooting, so it had to fire in small burst... A supposed tank-buster if i remember right.
topol-m Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 (edited) That`s the ARES. :) One look at it was enough, nice plane. Edited November 30, 2009 by topol-m [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

topol-m Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 Japanese? You know giving the country name is the last that I would do. It`s second only to telling the name of the company that produces the aircraft. :D got a better detailed picture? I don`t have a better one. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Griffin Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 (edited) Topol, could you send the link where you got that photo from? The cockpit looks almost identical to Ki-100 in IL-2 1946. Ki-61 looks very similar but the arrangement of gauges is different. Look at a couple of details from these screenies: Ki-100: Ki-61: Edited November 30, 2009 by Griffin

Griffin Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 (edited) I think the problem is the lack of a proper photo of Ki-100 cockpit. Your Ki-100 photo is also very close to the riddle photo. The VSI is on the "wrong" side compared to IL-2 screenshot but that could be just because someone put it there by accident. I don't consider IL-2 as a bible but the differences do raise suspicions in me. However you have a source and I also found another forum where you can see your riddle photo. In the link you can also see on the bottom of the page the IL-2 style Ki-61 cockpit. I'll end this here and Namenlos can ask his question. :) http://www.ww2incolor.com/forum/showthread.php?p=123835 Edited November 30, 2009 by Griffin
topol-m Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 The differences are not that big and you were close, so next time I answer a question I`ll pass my turn to you. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
