Thinder Posted July 6, 2020 Posted July 6, 2020 (edited) I've tried multiple times to go through this mission, reinstalled the game 3 times, checked the options for alignment (it's off), but when I start alignment, I can see the yellow light flashing but the numbers never move from 100. Now, I still have to upgrade my PC, I only run the new graphic card but my CPU and memory aren't really best and my system is perhaps prone to files corruption. To make sure, I ran the instant mission cold start and entered the coordinates of the airfield as they were in the INS, same result, timing doesn't move from the 100 I will test this after the upgrade (shouldn't be too long hopefully before I endly get my RAM, and report again. Other than that and being complex the game and module are great! Thanks! Edited July 6, 2020 by Thinder Win 11Pro. Corsair RM1000X PSU. jojo Posted July 6, 2020 Posted July 6, 2020 You have to click “VAL” to launch alignment. The key is lit :smilewink: Mirage fanatic ! Thinder Posted July 6, 2020 Author Posted July 6, 2020 (edited) You have to click “VAL” to launch alignment. The key is lit :smilewink: Hey Jojo! It was done long before I took the screenshot, this one is not for the INS/PCN Mode Selector tp be set to VEIlle, or ALN, required to start alignment, the yellow ALGN light starts to flash when you select ALN. Before ALN selection. In the first screenshot, I'm already at the end of the checklist, the engine started and alignment should have been done, the yellow light showing PRET and the counter showing zero. It's not the only bug I experience but since nobody else has those issue this suggests to me a possible file corruption from my PC. Going through it again, engine started, requested start up, INS not ready ALN yellow flashing, counter still at 100, can't select NAV. If I select NAV I got this and still no decount. End of checklist, Audio Alarm ON, I got a plethora of alarm on the panel and audio, I ran the checklist on a free flight mission without the INS for practice but with INS option ON, no Alarm at all. I do it for practice, I got it right, there is something wrong with my files... Edited July 6, 2020 by Thinder Win 11Pro. Corsair RM1000X PSU. Wait wait wait, what ? First you select VEI on PSM, then you update Waypoint 00 coordinates on PCN, then you select ALN on PSM, then click on VAL on PCN, then select STS on PSM to check progress. Once alignement is done, you select NAV on PSM. Then you request Start Up, and then you start the engine. Edited July 6, 2020 by Steph21

Thinder Posted July 31, 2020 Author Posted July 31, 2020 Thanks guys! I'm back with a PC upgrade stage 1. So i resumed training, still the same problem, in the training mission, following the tutorial by the letter, Align doesn't start. @ Jojo, I sent you a message but have no trace of it in my "sent" folder... Thinder Posted August 17, 2020 Author Posted August 17, 2020 Success at last. The problem came from the fact that in the tutorial, there is no mention of pressing the VAL button to validate coordinate entries. So now I'm off to next training mission with a fully functional INS. Thanks for your help! @Jojo, I tried to message you but have no mention of sent messages. Situation is as following: Finally got a working PC, had to return a CPU which was faulty. I'm going full VR, I have an Oculus Rift CV1, new that I purchased second hand for a fraction of its price. At the end of this week, I'll swap my Radeon RX 5500 XT for a 1080ti 11GB. The modeling of the R530 will have to wait, I can't afford a proper graphic tablet until I have completed my upgrades (Ryzen 7 2700X CPU 8 Core 4.3GHz and an extra 32GB of RAM), in about 3 month but it still is in the cards.
