Destructor031 Posted July 19, 2020 Posted July 19, 2020 Hey, I fly around literally for hours on missions and I have never seen an enemy. Occasional flak only. Whats the deal?
Reflected Posted July 19, 2020 Posted July 19, 2020 (edited) Hi, can you please tell me what mission it is, and where exactly do you fly? If you attach a track, that would be the easiest way to figure it out. Thanks! In all missions you need to follow the briefed routes and altitudes. Check the briefing images at mission start or your kneeboard pages. Edited July 19, 2020 by Reflected Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord
Destructor031 Posted July 19, 2020 Author Posted July 19, 2020 Hi, thanks for any help in advance. First, I don't even know what to do for a track... not computer literate. I've only had this game for a short time. It's the 2nd mission, i actually seen some enemy finally. I've made it to the 4th mission previously before I restarted. Never seen any bombers yet. If I crash or something and I restart the mission, does it somehow prevent enemies from appearing? I am certain the game is not broken, but I am doing something wrong. Just don't know what.
Reflected Posted July 19, 2020 Posted July 19, 2020 In mission 2 you need to join up with red flight who takes off first, then just follow them. Same goes for mission 3. From then on, you are leading the formation. So you take off, orbit over the airfield until the time specified in the briefing to set course (so that the rest of the formation can take off and rejoin) , then try to follow the headings on the briefing map. it's difficult, so you may wanna peak on the F10 map to make sure you are where you are supposed to be. They are also available on your kneeboard, or in pdf format under DCS/Mods/Campaigns/Blue nose..../docs - there is also a campaign intro pdf that has plenty of info. I programmed the triggers so that you don't need to hit the waypoints very precisely, but you need to follow the route as accurately as you can. If you go somewhere completely different, the triggers won't fire. If you are really stuck with one, you can save a track after you finish the mission. On the screen where you see all the events and units destroyed, you have a "save track" option at the bottom. If you attach the track file here, I can have a look at what you did and I can offer more precise advice. Good luck! Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord
Destructor031 Posted July 19, 2020 Author Posted July 19, 2020 So regardless of me restarting the mission, I should still be seeing enemy, or friendly, so if it happens again ill post the track. Thanks!
