diditopgun Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 (edited) Hi all ! From HB manual: The two indication lights on the threat advisory are RCV (recieve) and XMIT (transmit). RCV illuminates up when the system detects and analyzes a threat while the XMIT illuminates up when it’s actively jamming a threat. The AUDIO (volume) knob controls the audio volume of the RIO sound from the system. The pilot has no access to this audio. The audio itself is generated from the PRF of recieved threats with PRF frequency being converted to audio frequency. REC enables the system in recieve only mode, enabling analysation of threats and also the threat audio. Does the recieve mode is simulated ? At RIO place I don't see any light up on the threat advisory and hear any audio related. (test conditions: air start with some SAM to play with) EDIT: I see lights RCV and XMIT, they are just very dimmed... but my question remain about the audio.
