TOViper Posted August 4, 2020 Posted August 4, 2020 as the title says: After using the NÖDTRIM TIPP emergency pitch trim it is not possible to restore normal trim with the TRIMSYST circuit breaker. Never used emergency trim tbh so i might have done it wrong. Maybe someone can confirm? They work pretty fine now, but as stated, after using them it is by design not possible to use normal trim again, despite doing a reset with the TRIMSYST CB which doesn't work (I guess they have not implemented any of the CB's, which makes me sad). HB recently repaired the EMERGENCY trim, see here: https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/184286-emergency-pitch-trim-nose-up-bakt-doesnt-work/?tab=comments#comment-4238136 Edited February 8, 2021 by TOViper 1 Visit https://www.viggen.training ...Viggen... what more can you ask for? my computer: AMD Ryzen 5600G 4.4 GHz | NVIDIA RTX 3080 10GB | 32 GB 3.2 GHz DDR4 DUAL | SSD 980 256 GB SYS + SSD 2TB DCS | TM Warthog Stick + Throttle + TRP | Rift CV1
AvroLanc Posted April 11, 2021 Posted April 11, 2021 (edited) +1 For working TRIM CB. Still can't reset emergency trim. I see the preview 2.7 patch notes includes a fix for spring load function for Emergency Trim, but without the ability to do a CB reset, why would anyone want to use emergency trim? TOViper Posted April 12, 2021 Author Posted April 12, 2021 (edited) Hm... can imagine the following scenario: After engine died at high altitude at low speed, and loosing normal means of trim by not using the RAT for any reason. At lower altitudes the engine was re-started successfully again, and then flight back home might continue. Something like this ... Maybe we find some RL pilot of the beast for experiences with that system around in these humble forum? I kinda meant that, without the TRIM CB reset modeled in sim, what's the point of bothering to add detail to the emergency trim at all? Otherwise, HB have half-modeled a system. We need the Circuit Breakers - there's only 5 (or 6?) - functions added. Your scenario sounds plausible.

I always thought that designing a software module regarding complex aircraft starts with the CB's, since they are the base of all electric wiring, but obviously I was wrong Visit https://www.viggen.training ...Viggen... what more can you ask for? my computer: AMD Ryzen 5600G 4.4 GHz | NVIDIA RTX 3080 10GB | 32 GB 3.2 GHz DDR4 DUAL | SSD 980 256 GB SYS + SSD 2TB DCS | TM Warthog Stick + Throttle + TRP | Rift CV1
