Button 15 on F18 Handle error

Hello

 

 

So after flying today I noticed, that the Button 15 on my Throttle Handle doesn't register the press sometimes, it works, and then suddenly, it doesn't work. Nothing happens if I press the button. I mapped this the "Comm 1" button.

 

 

I updated the firmware for the HOTAS, but no change. Is this a Hardware or Software Problem? Would be very bad if things are already broke after 2 months of use:cry:.

Use joystick input visualizer outside of DCS such as joy.cpl, or joystick gremlin to check if the button registers properly. If it does then the problem is you and DCS. If it doesn’t then it is the hardware problem.

Yeah I saw in the SimApp from Winwing that the buttons not registering!

Man I really wanted to like this HOTAS, but after today with Recee Switch falling off also, i begin to think this buy was a mistake.

 

 

Shame, I really wanted to like this. :(

....and sometimes crap just happens. Had Multiple issues on my old Warthog and inoperative buttons on my Virpil throttle. Email Winwing info@winwing.cn, they should hopefully sort you out.

Murphy's law, bad luck I guess. My throttle has been solid, can't comment on the grip quality since I do not have it.
