Help! Video memory used is always 0.00 ? Crap performance (rtx 2080ti/10700k/Rifts))

Whats up all. Just upgraded to a rtx 2080 ti / 10700k.

 

Im seeing 0 video memory usage (right control /print screen 2x).

I was expecting a some performance boost. But this is worse than my 8700k/ 1080 ti /rifts combo. Im wondering if i have a defective component somewhere. Has anyone heard of any issues like this? I googled it and no results regarding 0 video mem usage.

Aside from that its not that smooth. There is noticable choppiness which I wasnt getting in free flight before. I tweaked it pretty much exactly as before (no msaa) , toned settings down, still performance issues.

I just put the pc together today so Im hoping its something easy to fix. Id hate to return it all. Its literally an entire new z490 build .

My settings are identical to many who posted here regarding optimal settings.

well you should run some tempature checks on the system with streesing tools like furmark for video and intel burn test for cpu..

Thank man been doing that all day. Temps seem fine. GPU never breaks 60s . Cpu around 50s (360mm water block on there) I dont get the whole 0.00 video card memory used thing. My other system had a running number as world loaded into memory. It was also incredibly smooth. This pc doesnt look as good lol . I got it just for dcs too. Im going to run the usual tests like you said and see where that goes. Ill report back after . Thanks for reply. If anyone has any idea of why vid card memory usage is ALWAYS at 0 (when using right ctrl print screen) please shout out. ty

 

 

I ran a latency checker and its always above 1000us but usually in yellow. Never green. A few red bars here and there. It wasnt any of the usb ports that I can tell. I think this is looking like some crappy driver issue tbh.
