I've abandonded SBK since no SBK sim has been released since, I don't know, 1999? :) Thanks for the info about online races!

Moto GP sims have been released quite regularly and SBK 07 came out last year and now there's SBK:08, check it out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HSPZnLj5mK4&NR=1

Even better Moto GP 08 will be released this month and they'll have 125 and 250 classes. http://uk.gamespot.com/pc/driving/motogp08/video/6197018/motogp-08-gameplay-movie

The problem with f-1 cars is that they depend so much of aerodynamics that once a car gets close to pass another it loses aerodynamic load and gets too tricky to pass. And because of that they all have to turn almost in the same spot and in the same way, so there are few spots to pass a car. Another problem is that it is not only about being the best driver, what matters more is how good your car is. I beth that if you give a driver of the back of the field a car like a ferrari or McLaren, he will start to win races; that is what happened to alonzo , he was given the chance of driving a good car and he got a championship (I'm not saying that he is not good) it is that to win in formula one you need lots of things not only a good car and a driver like it was in the old days.

new front wings

I have heard that F1 is working on new adjustable front wings in an effort to add stability in passing situations. Drivers will be able to make adjustments in the cockpit. I understand McLaren and Ferrari are working on this under the D1 authority. When I find a link I'll post it, but has anyone else heard this?

Flyby out

PS next year SLICKS

I agree up to a point because Kubica's BMW is inferrior to two McLarens and two Ferraris and he is still able to take podium more than once. In fact he is a contender for second place in this year's championship.
