TOViper Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 Hi folks at HB, recently I noticed that the Tomcat is windmilling, even when in crosswind conditions. Therefore two question came up: 1.) Is it correct that windmilling happens with crosswind? 2.) Is it maybe hindering the ground crew doing repairs? You can see it here, the Tomcat was spawned cold&dark "From the ramp": https://youtu.be/IX_uVnE--ug Thanks and kind regards, TOViper Visit https://www.viggen.training ...Viggen... what more can you ask for? my computer: AMD Ryzen 5600G 4.4 GHz | NVIDIA RTX 3080 10GB | 32 GB 3.2 GHz DDR4 DUAL | SSD 980 256 GB SYS + SSD 2TB DCS | TM Warthog Stick + Throttle + TRP | Rift CV1
fat creason Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 (edited) Yeah, I'd classify that as a bug. Windmilling speed references aircraft airspeed but doesn't take direction into account. Edited August 21, 2020 by fat creason Systems Engineer & FM Modeler Heatblur Simulations
