Steps to reproduce:

1. Select guns

2. Leave AA mastermode

 

Result:

ACM symbology disappears from HUD, as expected. However radar page enters an impossible state, which isnt marked as ACM (note boxed ACM disappeared) yet the user cant control range and GACQ scan pattern is still being performed.

Furthermore, you can add infinite amount of bars which on top of this all are performed horizontally, so that gives you maximum scan azimuth.

 

Bonus:

If you switch to surface radar and back to air radar after all that, the page will show RTS MAP, which doesnt work (does RTS MAP even exist?) and instead centers the beam for some reason. You cannot return to surface radar in other than mastermode change.

I've had weird things just like this happen to me with the A/A radar. It really needs some dedicated bug squashing time.

Just hit the weapon select switch to any A/A weapon and you're good.

 

Yea, it looks like a quirk with the bars but once you go back to A/A master, A.G or select any A/A weapon you should go back to your pre-set parameters for that weapon, even without them loaded. At least on my rig (latest OB)

 

I don't know what mode the radar should return to when canceling A/A master (with gun selected) in the Hornet... I assume the 4 bar, 60 or 80 deg?
