STT PRF bug revisit

This recently closed bug report. Santi describes the bug as it not automatically choosing the correct PRF setting for STT when in INT mode, and that by waiting until the correct PRF is shown you can force it into either a MED or HI PRF.

 

This doesnt appear to be entirely true.

In the attached video and track you can see the following behaviours: (lock-when TDC is depressed and STT initiated)

 

1. HI (int) lock into MED STT

2. MED (int) lock into MED STT

3. MED lock into MED STT

4. HI lock into HI STT

 

When the STT went to MED PRF the lock would be lost and MEM mode entered.

When the STT went to HI PRF the lock would complete and the STT would hold.

 

It seems like the radar is attempting to automatically choose the correct PRF setting for the STT, but is choosing wrong every time and ending up defaulting to MED, therefore dropping the lock.
