Kiryat Shmona or Qiryat Shemona?

Firstly - loving the map. Great job guys, thank you.

 

Came across this today - discrepancy between town name and associated airport. I'm assuming this is an error?

 

If it is, its a small one but thought you'd want to know about it nonetheless.

Googled it and apparently it goes by either name. Must be ok then.

 

Shoulda googled before posting, I know... duh!

There are a number of variations in the spelling of airfields in the region across the map, a number of names are anglicised spellings of other alphabets, or translations of arabic etc, The As-Sulatan/Al-Sultan/Al Sultan heliports are another example, Im not sure its directly a bug as much as differing pronunciations which is probably not far off the real world.

It's similar on Persian Gulf and Caucasus maps.

In my opinion it would be best to look at the real world navigational map (the one called "map" and which is used in the MFDs map display) as a primary source for the names. At least where there are names on the nav map.
