Areas beyond map edge now black?

Not sure when this started but in Open Beta v2.5.6.55363 everything off the edge of the map has gone black instead of the blurry green background we used to have??

Reported over a year ago, no word from Ugra. A shame, because the Normandy map is now running great. If only they fixed this:
