Alexrey Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 I installed Lock On Modern Air Combat v1.0 and then updated it to v1.02. I then installed Lock On Flaming Cliffs v1.1, but when I try to update it to v1.12b I run into a weird problem. My Lock On is installed in "D:\Program Files\Lock On", but when I try to patch it the patch points to "D:\Program Fi". So I clicked on Browse and tried to direct it to "D:\Program Files\Lock On" but then it doesn't allow me to press OK. And if I just copy the location of Lock On and paste it into the Destination Folder text field, the Install button gets grayed out. I don't know what to do, isn't it supposed to patch the Lock On folder? Would really appreciate some help, thanks.
159th_Viper Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Install LockOn Then Install Flaming Cliffs Then patch to 1.12a/b (making 100% sure you have the correct version-specific patch). Do not patch to 1.02 and then attempt to install Flaming Cliffs over that......could be the cause of the issue you are experiencing. Novice or Veteran looking for an alternative MP career? S77th-konkussion Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Is there a reason you can't leave the path(s) default? [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
Alexrey Posted April 2, 2008 Author Posted April 2, 2008 Is there a reason you can't leave the path(s) default? Because then the patch won't actually patch the game. It'll just dump it's files into the "D:\Program Fi" folder that it makes.
VMFA117_Poko Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 It looks like You downloaded invalid version of patch 1.12b. Check if it's for downloaded version of FC or DVD, russian or english. It all matters.
