NoPro Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 Can anyone explain me the difference between the key bindings of LAAP ON/OFF (A on the keyboard) and the HOTAS BUTTON LEFT THROTTLE (Q on the keyboard) ? Both seem to switch on the autopilot. Cheers
Emmy Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 I’ve done away with A on the keyboard for A/P and have it mapped to alphabet characters in the CDU. AFAIK, if you have the throttle button mapped, you don’t need the keyboard A for the A/P [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] http://www.476vfightergroup.com/content.php High Quality Aviation Photography For Personal Enjoyment And Editorial Use. www.crosswindimages.com

I thought that there is maybe a submode or something if you switch on the A/P the one or the other way.
Wayan Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 No, there is no difference, i assume it is there for convinience. As the A10 is perfectly HOTAS inegrated, so you don't have to let go of the throttle for the A/P.
