Zippy Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 I did a quick scan of the A-10C II forum, and I didn't see this issue addressed, sorry if it has and I missed it. Once we successfully install the new A-10C II module, can we get rid of the old original A-10C module? My DCS SSD is filling up, so I like to trim some space when I get the chance. A followup question, if you click "Remove Module" in the module manager, does it completely remove all the module files, or do we have to do some manual cleanup as well? Thanks, and great job by DCS in giving this old module some TLC!
Madman 2H2K Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 I'm pretty sure you have to have the original module installed in order for A-10C II to work
nessuno0505 Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 The answer at the first question I suppose to be yes, now. There were problems in doing so with the initial release, that should have been fixed with the last hotfix (see changelog). I do not know about the second question. By the way, I wonder: if someone does not have the original a-10c and buys a-10c II, does he get both modules? And if so, can he choose to install just One of the two?
BuzzU Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 You don't need A-10C to install A-10C ll. That's been fixed. Buzz
