rayrayblues Posted October 16, 2020 Posted October 16, 2020 Perhaps I didn't make myself clear in my previous post. This is a difficulty not a bug and it hasn't been solved. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=286968 The problem isn't solved, only discovered. When in battle it is at best difficult to fire rockets after reloading, especially when using unlimited ammo. Basically, as I outlined in my previous post the issues are: 1 - You have 10 HVARS or 6 Bazooka tubes. 2 - The counter on the instrument panel goes up to 24. 3 - Whether reloading in the air, or on the ground, you have to reset the counter to 1 before you can fire the next rockets. On the ground it's not really much of a problem as long as you remember to do it. In the air however, since the counter is down low and behind the stick, you either have to use active pause to reset it which in battle can be dangerous. If you are being shot at by AAA you need to get out of range or they will get you. It's also not very realistic (yes I know, neither is unlimited ammo) but, it really breaks immersion. What I've been doing is when I'm empty, take a quick peek at the counter to see what number it is on, then press the fire button repeatedly in order to bring it back to 1. Example: I fire 10 HVARS, the counter is on 11. I then press the fire button 14 times to reset the counter back to 1. It's tedious, but it works. An easy fix would be to have the counter automatically reset to 1 when reloading , or give us a counter that only goes to 10 like the one in the P-51.
