Modding the x52 ??

I personally don't like the notch indent on the 2 throttle rotary wheels. I find it very hard to tell if they are centered.

 

I have been thinking of taking it apart and trying to improve these notches so it is much easier to tell when the rotaries are centered.

 

Has anybody tried to do this yet? How hard would it be and is it worth it? :dunno:

 

Or done any other 'Mods' to their x52 joysticks?

What I did was to center the rotaries, then using a marker I made a line through the rotarie to the body. A quick glance to the throttle to see if the lines are lined up, if so they are center.
