wondering when building a mission is it possible to use a common nav point for several aircraft, say for instance i want 4 clients to fly to a common place without having to make a nav point for each individual aircraft?

better still, can you copy a flight route of multiple nav points from one flight group to the next?

currently in a multiplayer mission if i want to allow 5 clients and i want them to have the same nav points i am making 5 seperate flight routes that are basically identical, if i could use one flight route for all the clients that would make my mission building far simpler, thanks.

Currently, this procedure is possible, but is rather complicated.

However, thanks to DArt, there is new tool that enables just that (and more)

LockOn Mission Editor: LOME project

Also check his forum for support:

I still create the "template" in FC, but to make more flyable aircraft I turn on LOME. Simply right-click on the group and choose Duplicate and that's it!

There are more options and DArt is working of even more.

Hope this helps

I'm sure I recall a post made by IronHand a while ago (but might not have been on this particular Lockon forum) about this. I think he would set up one mission with all the waypoints for just one aircraft. Then open a new mission (the final product) and merge in the 1st mission several times to get his multiple flights. Finally he would edit them into CLIENT and save.
