Absolute Camera Vertical View?

I think a setting somewhere is overriding this option but I can no longer "scroll" to alter the height of the 3rd person view when driving an Abrams for instance. If I join a server with TC slots enabled I can use the scroll. If I try on my own machine in single player, the ability is gone. I've tried reinstalling CA and deleting the ground_unit config folder with no luck. I'm out of ideas. any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'Absolute Camera Vertical View'.

I roll the mouse wheel to zoom in/out when i'm in external view in single player, but if it's not working for you check your view keys assignments page.

Try the numpad / and numpad * keys too.

Can you tell me what the command is for the scroll? Slow zoom in and out don't work for me, only mouse scroll.

If by scroll you mean zoom, rolling my mouse wheel works fine for me.

Left-Ctrl-F11= free camera

Looks nice but not relevant. None of these commands do what I am talking about. Scroll mouse in ISOMETRIC view to change to POV height.

I've probably misunderstood what you're asking, but here are some isometric views (INS key) at different zoom settings by rolling the mousewheel-

Thank you Spike, you helped me get there. I found the command. General/Axis Commands/Camera zoom view. somehow it is unmapped. But when I join another server it mapped itself. Setting it back to MOUSE_Z

Yeah the Commands listings are all over the place and hard to find and need tidying up, for example there seems to be different Comb Arms and General listings, some assignments are in one list but not in the other, etc.
