A-10C HUD FONT SIZE MAKE IT BIGGER

A-10C _2- HUD - to use bigger font

In the past I could make the HUD font bigger by changing the value in D:\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\A-10C_2\Cockpit\Scripts\HUD\Indicator\HUD_definition.lua :

 

FontSizeX1 = 0.0058 * (old_K / new_K)

 

to a slightly bigger number such as 0.0078.

 

every thing looks fine and bigger so i can read , but it is a problem :

 

once you change to AIR to AIR the AIM 9 circle rectical disappears and i can't lock or use the weapon!!

 

i wish that this feature be permitted because the font is really too small to see.

Why not only change the color ?

Make it black (for daylight) and it`s much easier to read.

You can simply flip the toggle switch from DAY to NIGHT to change it to an orange hued color, rather than green to see if that is better for you. If not, pretty sure you need to edit a .lua file - there are numerous posts on this but I do not know off hand.

line 6:  new_K = **.5 --44

 

play with ** until it fits your needs. Mine is 65
