Breez Posted November 13, 2020 Posted November 13, 2020 My key bindings are set correctly but slewing TPOD/TMD/IRMAV goes in the opposite direction. Also, feels like the whole weapon system is kinda borked this way. Module is AV8B Harrier.
diegoepoimaria01 Posted November 19, 2020 Posted November 19, 2020 Same things happened to me and some friends ... Still don't know why, but it seems that it's because of an incorrect settings ... We've found this while using the IRMAV ... usually that means that we're NOT actually usung the IRMAV , but other sensors ... So Sensor management switch fwd and it goes ok. For the TPOD, same issue ... Sensor switch press ( if i remember correctly ) and the tpod screen shows some labels that chenge. Usually the "SLAVE" button on the right bottom is not boxed anymore too ... We're still fighting to understand how Harrier uses various sensors ... coming from F-16 and F/A-18 that have a clear sensor selection, we're having quite a lot of issues ... Anyway, those are just our experiences, but if someone have some suggestions or tutorials , we're happy to hear those :D
Alighierian Posted November 20, 2020 Posted November 20, 2020 Is it similar to the issue I described here: https://forums.eagle.ru/forum/english/licensed-third-party-projects/razbam/av-8b-n-a/problems-and-bugs/7120826-reported-tdc-slew-button-inversion-after-firing-agm-65?p=7129318#post7129318 ?
Shot Posted November 20, 2020 Posted November 20, 2020 The slewing is broken since the previous upgrade for me. It only works (left=left, up=up, ...) when flying directly towards the target. Once your target is on your 9 o'clock position it gets difficult as the slewing still seems to be based on the direction of your aircraft. Absolutely unusable, even the DMT I think showed the same behavior. Will fly F18 until this is fixed or someone can tell me which magic button I need to press to get things back to normal again.
Shmegegge 1-1 Aero Posted November 22, 2020 Posted November 22, 2020 I had the same issue when I tried to move a waypoint with TDC. I think the TDC moves in relation to North, East, South, West, rather than up, right, down, left.
Shot Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 I've read it somewhere in the forum that you need to press SSS (Sensor Select Switch Down) twice within 0.8s to set the TPOD as active (for slewing etc.). Once you do this the controls are working OK again. Weird as I'd expect if the TPOD is not active that the slew controls would do nothing instead of showing this weird behavior.
