Warthog dual throttle APU start toggle switch programming

Hi,

I'm trying to assign the APU start/off 2 position toggle switch to the battery On/Off for my Tiger, but it seems DCS ( and windows) recognize this switch as a 1 button switch! Button n.20 to be precise. So if I switch it up dcs regulary recognize it and turns on battery, but if I switch it down ... nothing happens!

The only solution I'vve found by now is to assign two keyboard buttons to function batt On and batt Off, and progrmming with TARGET software the switch... But in this manner I've to save the keyboard profile of dcs to use in combination with the target profile for the throttle and the VKB joystick profile i've edited in DCS.... oh my gosh!!!

Is there a more simple way??? Thank you kindly!

Check the "Toggle Switch" sticky in the main Input and Output forum. Not sure specifically how to make that one, but you should be able to add a line your DCS .lua's to turn it into a 2 way switch. I have that set to turn my taxi lights on/off in my F18. LeCuiver is the resident expert (and thanks LeCuiver for all the info you've helped people with) so you could try searching their posts to see if there is one for the Tiger battery.

When I wanted to do what you want without any hassles I found RSMapper on here and saves all that LUA faff. Program any single action key to on/off however you like, and more. Youtube also has a hoe to guide if needed.
