Ryanwtod Posted November 17, 2020 Posted November 17, 2020 Is it realistic for the Arm switch and the Trigger Box to reset everytime you laze something? I've gotta say I wish it would stay armed lol. I've dropped a bunch of dumb smart bombs now thinking I was lazing when I wasn't

I tried it tonight and it didn't work that way. If I release a GBU, turn so that I'm never closer than 2 nm of the target, the laser stops firing and disarms approximately 10 seconds after projected Time to Impact (TTI). If it doesn't fire (i.e. you miss release) and you fly directly over the target it stays armed. Only time I get it to disarm is when it's fired and then stops firing/disarms 10 seconds after projected TTI.
