F10 map mission plan -- add altitude and course to waypoints?

Is there a way to add the planned altitude and course to the waypoint marks you place on the F10 map for the purposes of in-game mission planning? They all come out zero by default, which make the altitude reference bars on the HUD non-useful unless you manually reset the reference altitude.
