Gerrard Posted November 26, 2020 Posted November 26, 2020 Hi, after installing the latest update this morning, my F-16 is veering violently to the right on take off. It is impossible to keep straight and overturns when I try to correct.. Has something changed?
DAGI Posted November 26, 2020 Posted November 26, 2020 Have you checked that there is no new bindings to pitch/roll/yaw that has snuck in? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Gerrard Posted November 26, 2020 Author Posted November 26, 2020 Hi BIGNEWY, see attached. I put on NWS to try to counteract the veer as rudder alone has little effect.Take off veering.trk
macedk Posted November 26, 2020 Posted November 26, 2020 Tried it. You have a heavy cross/tail wind 036 at 12 m/s.Your takeoff is 310. That is quite a lot for a heavy F-16. Rudder has effect after 80 knots or so. I did manage to get airborne but had to severely trim the bird to the left to maintain level flight. Some sources say max crosswind is 25 knots, you had 24 knots from side and tail side. You are on the limit of what the bird can do :). 1 OS: Win10 home 64bit*MB: Asus Strix Z270F/ CPU: Intel I7 7700k /Ram:32gb_ddr4 GFX: Nvidia Asus 1080 8Gb Mon: Asus vg2448qe 24" Disk: SSD Stick: TM Warthog #1400/Saitek pro pedals/TIR5/TM MFDs [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Gerrard Posted November 26, 2020 Author Posted November 26, 2020 That's really strange as I had zero wind set in options and the miz still shows no wind. I think the mission file was corrupted as when I created a new one with the same parameters and the veering was only minimal and within limits. Thanks for going to the trouble though, I appreciate it. :)
