F-14 V2.0 HELIOS PROFILE - Capt Zeen compatible with F-14A-135-GR

Hello, I finally found it !!!

 

Here is the procedure to follow so that your "Capt Zeen" helios F-14B profile V2.0 can be compatible with the F-14A-135-GR.

 

You will need to modify 3 files:

 

Open your F14B profile file (of type ".hpf") from CaptZeen with Notepad ++ and modify the line indicated in attachment 1.

 

 

Then open with Notepad ++ the Lua file "Helios_F14" (located in "Saved Game \ DCS.openbeta \ Scripts \ Helios \ Mods") and modify the line as indicated in attachment 2.

 

 

Finally, opened in Notepad ++ the lua file "HeliosExport16" (located in "Saved Game \ DCS.openbeta \ Scripts \ Helios") modify the line as indicated in attachment 3.

Interesting. I only have a F-14_v2.0b.hpf and not one just for the pilot?

This is the name of my personal F-14 V2.0 profile.

 

The base name is F-14_v2.0b.hpf.

 doesn't seem to work for me, Helios keeps wanting to reinstall the old export16 without the f14a stuff in it

spoke to devs, a new step is needed to get this to work

 

here it is 

 

make a copy of the "HeliosExport16.lua" that you edited above and then paste it in the following Directory

 

My Documents\Helios\Scripts\Helios

 

you will have to create new folders for "scripts" and "Helios"

 

once this is done they should both work

Hello,

l need some help please.
My situation four months ago l was using two monitors :
- Screen 1 (main) 1920 x 1080 [40" Tv monitor ]
- Screen 2 1680 x 1050 [22" PC monitor]


The three files (F-14_v2.0b.hpf / Helios_F14.lua / HeliosExport16.lua) have been updated to support A model and l had fun on both F14 variant.



l buy an new monitor and l still using Helios with two monitors by replacing old 1680 x 1050 by 3840 x 2160 also 28" PC monitor and as second screen.
However for my 4k screen is set in resolution 1920 x1080


I do test with F14B and it seems to have no issue. However it start to be super weird when l fly A model l got those messages :
- "Cannot display this profile because it has an invalid monitor configuration."
-"Simulator is F14-135-GR"
- "Simulator is running basic telemetry only"

My question is why now he won't run the profile and what to do to make it run as before?
