Hey everyone ... :)

i am the left wing of an 6 ship f-16 aerobatic team ..

of course we hate the bug that the f-16 is not standing with the wheels on the ground ... and the current model we are flying with is not so detailed as it should be ... :(

the next problem is .. that i am the greates noob on any 3d tools and programms :)

but i found a f-16 3d model for 3d studio max ..

now my question is ...

what i have to do (or a guy wich is skilled in 3dsm) to finalize this 3d model and add it to lock on? :/

is it still a long / hard way to finalize this model?

thx and greetz

I have done something similar before, I got a 3d model and prepared it for lockon. And if you know what you are doing you could probably be finished in a month or so. I think the unwraping is the most difficult part and it takes most of the time too. Animations is not that hard, just to get all the pivots in the right position and have a table of all arguments and start animating. The scale is probably the easiest part. But it all takes time ofcorse.
