ruddy122 Posted December 12, 2020 Posted December 12, 2020 I like an Anti Skid that works when the switch is placed on it The wheels lock and swerve when you hit W for the brakes and you hold W down Does the real F-16 do that? Skysurfer Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 (edited) +1 very annoying issue, same for the Hornet. Edited December 14, 2020 by Skysurfer
KalAbaddon Posted December 25, 2020 Posted December 25, 2020 Well your not supposed to actually hit the breaks till after the nose wheel touches down, after you airbrake with the wings. ( not sure if that is the case, just letting you know. ) I have pictures of wheels melted down, it is not super common and more often from a anti skid failure, but iirc if you land and immediately break it will fry the wheels, and iirc the anti skid is not like modern antilock breaks. it does not work as well, maybe for keyboard you need to feather the w button? ( sorry use pedals my self ) The rim was actually messed up also, nice flattened down spot. So here is what your wheels on the F-16 looked like after you skidded off the runway! 1
