HARM Lofting in RUK Mode

just watched Wags’ F16 HARM RUK video and noticed the HARM loft after launch. I can’t find any reference to that POS sub mode utilising loft. HAF doc I have says “No loft cues” for RUK. But does the missile still loft? Curious as to where the team got the answer from. Thanks

Hi, from what a SME said, it does indeed loft. It should loft via its own logic anytime it is shooting on a point. The "loft cue" refers to an assisted loft (like pitching up before shooting an AMRAAM) and is different from the HARM's own loft logic. Good question though, my virtual squadron wondered the same thing.

Loft cues are for PB and EOM sub modes. But missile self lifting in RUK is an unknown as I can’t find any reference to it
