finnickey radar

4 bandits hot (1100+ cosure) coalt (35k) tws assigned all of them np, 40 miles out poof gone lol. f10 watched them come all the way to the merge and they were never on my tid at all (managed to pal 1 and fox 2 him but that was it) 
is it me doing something wrong?
a feature? 
a bug?
afaik the radar mode never changed etc, didnt hear jester clicking anything and the di symbology never changed

It could've been jester not being set too auto or surprisingly good flying on the AI's part. If jester isn't set to Auto then sometimes he doesn't change the radar's elevation on the antenna so its best not to screw with him or if you do specifically select the Radar mode: Auto feature when your finished. 

 

Otherwise it could be the AI dumping altitude and getting lost in the terrain. I had a group of Mig 23s do that to me over the caucus mountains in my singleplayer campaign and was forced to merge before I even saw them on radar.

if they worked i would lol, since the last patch not a single track file has worked with the f14 for me.
i understand i need alot more info and testing though. right now im confused as hell about hopw the radar and phoenix is actually behaving witht he current patch and what will change with the next patch
