Zoltenburg Posted December 15, 2020 Posted December 15, 2020 I have a Thrustmaster Cougar Hotas. When I first got it from eBay and loaded the drivers the way I have read it to be done, both flight stick and throttle worked. I then loaded some other files to try to get the buttons to work in the sim and it stopped working. I think I will reinstall windows and start over, unless someone here can help me.
Dangerzone Posted December 15, 2020 Posted December 15, 2020 Maybe try Windows restore point first before going all out with a reformat? (I don't have that HOTAS sorry so can't help from there).
Lange_666 Posted December 15, 2020 Posted December 15, 2020 There's a dedicated Thrustmaster subforum here. Better ask your question there. Cougar has his own memory for button profiles. - Were these files files you created yourself (Foxy software)? Zoltenburg Posted December 17, 2020 Author Posted December 17, 2020 Thanks so much for your reply. I reinstalled Windows. I got the thrustmaster to load. Now the issue is getting the stick calibrated. When I use CCP to do a manual calibration it goes well until I get the Ant Elev knob and Range knob. Neither of the axises move when II turn the dials. What happens then is. since the axises stay the same I get an error at the end of the calibration stating there was an error with the two knobs. I am then asked to recalibrate. Also I would love to know where I can get a key file for my Cougar Hotas stick to use with the F16.
Lange_666 Posted December 17, 2020 Posted December 17, 2020 Did the Ant Elev en RNG axis work when you got it from eBay? Do they work perhaps if you move the throttle forward/backwards to a certain position?
