Fighting the Fortresses ?

Hi

I'm new to DCS and just starting with jet combat ever so slowly, its kinda overwhelming.

Am using Il-2 Great Battles for WW_II action - what I sorely miss over there is Luftwaffe vs. the Heavies (B-17/B-24). Something you could set up in the old days with Il-2 1946.

I have seen DCS videos of that kind but its not clear to me which modules/campaigns/missions cover that?

How many B-17 will be in the air, a full combat box of 36 planes or just a handful?

You can use the Mission Editor to pit in however many B17s you like.

I have a mission on the Normandy map with 40.
