I do still have three electric linear drives that could move the pit with maybe 3DOF.. But I was kinda planning on using them for the Force-Trim on the stick and pedals..

 

But it does look really tempting.. ;-)

It simulates accelerations, not motion/position. I once took a ride in a motion simulator in a funfair. It only moved the seat to the position of the virtual roller-coaster wagon instead of trying to simulate the acceleration. Very frustrating. But it looks like the guys at force dynamics are doing it right, very right.

I like them the most out of all that I have seen. they say you can feal the rocks under the tires of the cars. think what it culd do for a flight sim. WOHO :joystick:
