I tested AIM120 missiles on an F16 aircraft (F-15/F18 this problem is not noticed):

 - If you lock the target after that off the radar, then it continues to guide the missile

 - but if you dropped the target lock he stops guiding the missile (doesn't matter radar off or on)

 

The problem is that the radar, in any case, when stoped work should stop controlling missiles...

AIM-120 Issues have been reported and we need to wait for the next patch we are planning the 23rd at the moment, then we can recheck.
