Runway Approach\Threshold Strobe Lights

Has this idea ever been considered? With the Dynamic Weather engine in development, it's something that would definitely need to be implemented at some point. AFAIK, at most airports, they are automatically activated at dusk, but the flash intensity varies according to the weather conditions.

 

And it just looks cool...
