Binding controls to mouse

I'm trying to bind clicky cockpit toggle to my MOUSE_BTN4, but most of the controls can't be bound to the mouse in the Mirage.

 

I tried all of the lua config stuff I could find online but nothing's really working.

 

Specifically the iCommandCockpitClickModeOnOff, which has been changed to be something custom inside the Mirage controls.

 

Anyone have a tl;dr on enabling controllers for planes?

i too needed to bind switching mouse view on and off with mouse button, and its not allowed in m2000. works fine with hornet.
