shneebs Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 (edited) Hi Everyone, Recently I've downloaded the F16 C as a freeby during the winter sale and I dont know whether the problem I have at the moment is because its not the full version. Ive figured out how to switch the HUD on but what is happening when I turn the SYM wheel up the HUD appears to come on for a second and then disappears. What I also notice visually is that the wheel resets when the HUD goes. Also notice the SYM wheel wobbles or glitches as if something is engaged with it. Im doing autostart at the moment and dont know if theres something missing. Itll be cool if someone could help as this aircraft is pretty good but its annoying to just use my Helmet display at the moment. Regards Snowy Edited December 30, 2020 by shneebs
Caster Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 Sounds to me like the axis for the scroll wheel has bound itself to something that is conflicting with your mouse input. Might be worth checking if it even can be bound in the axis as I'm not actually sure Fly fast and leave a pretty wreck

It was the auto assign feature DCS does so I looked through the control settings and a few controls were assign to my X56 HOTAS. Cleared it all and now the HUD appears and stays on. No confliction. Let the dogfights begin! I hope this helps anyone who has the same drama. Cheers guys! 1
