4c Hajduk Veljko Posted December 26, 2004 Posted December 26, 2004 What does Track Edit Insert Mode (Alt-BackSpace) do? Also what does Track Edit Replace Mode (Shift-BackSpace) do? Is there any way to pull out only part of the track in Video Edit mode? for example, I have a track that is 40 minutes long. And I want to create a new track out of it. However, all I want is 5 minutes of that 40 minutes of the original track. And those 5 minutes are located in 20 to 25 minutes of the original track? In the Replace Mode old track input commands are ignored and new input commands are recorded to the new track. In the Insert Mode old track input commands are mixed with new input commands and they both are recorded to the new track. So using those features dynamically you can edit some time interval only and save the rest of the original track. There may be some collisions with old and new commands in the Insert Mode so we can't guarantee good results always. Valery Blazhnov Eagle Dynamics Veteran
