Wish: Allow contextual or overlapping bindings for multi-crew

So if I can make a wish, it would be the abilty to use "overlapping" bindings for different seats in aircraft with more than 1 crew function. It make absolutely no sense ot me, that in the C101 for example I have to use a different pickle button from the back seat than when I am sitting in the front seat. If I try to bind the same button, it deletes the binding on the conflicting function.

Same goes for most of the helos and I am afraid it would be the same subpar approach for the Hind, Kiowa and Apache as well? The only airframe - if I remember correctly that is - that doesn't suffer from this was the Tomcat.

Will this be resolved by the multicrew API update?

You don't stop playing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop playing.

I believe the C-101 is the only multicrew module that does it this way actually.
Nor the Gazelle, Huey or even the free MB-339 have this "problem".
Cheers!
