Yes, this topic is still active.

What exactly do you need help with?

Have you read the guide at all? All of the information is there to help you with this problem in step 3.

Give it a go, and if you still need help, pop back and provide further details. Good luck.

@jonsky7 so the issue im having is that ive gotten my res for dcs which would be 3968x1080 1920+1024+1024 the issue im having is that with the mfd the Hight is 1024 which is too stretched and its not in alignment with the buttons on the mfd. so im a bit lost in what to do now. the resolutions for the mfd are 760x1024 and when i go into dcs to and i find the resolution of 3968x1080 it doesn't show up.

and the then the main monitor is also stretched to my second monitor which i don't want to use but have available for obs and streaming. ik im not putting the numbers in correctly im just a bit lost.

What are you looking for? I'm guessing it was some automatic application for setting up MFD's???

The guide on page 1 shows and explains how to set up your MFD for export manually.

Ok. The MFD resolutions of 768*1024 seems a bit weird, I would normally expect them to be 1024*768, are your displays rotated?

Can you show me a screenshot of your windows display settings?

Shouldn't the MFD viewport resolutions be square?

Put this file in the same location

penguin.lua

Give it a try and let me know how it looks, you will have to select it in the DCS settings menu

You can type 3440*1080 in the settings menu also

think that did it thanks alot. what was wong with the config file i had??

The aspect ratio was the wrong resolution,

the MFCD position was wrong

the MFCD export size was wrong

So, pretty much everything with regards to exporting the displays where you wanted them really.

So this right circles indicated where I had the Mfds last and I decided to move them to below the monitor with the desk clamps, so I’m curious to now know if you would be kind enough to edit the penguin Lia file you sent to be able to use them below the monitor now if that’s all right with you Please and thank you @jonsky7

It doesn't matter where they are on your desk, only where they are in the display settings, have you moved them there as well?

If you put them back in display settings then no change is required.

Otherwise, show me how you have them now and I'll try to adjust the config file for you.

OK, so I moved my screens in display settings how I liked them and I kept the settings in DCS the same but when I load up DCS, they are not the same. The black half screen on my second monitor needs to be where the MFD are located and it’s not. penguin.lua
