looking for a good artist

I guess I should introduce myself since this is serious business.

 

Hi, I’m leafer. Ok...

 

I’m looking for an artist to collaborate in a project that will showcase the artist’s work and mine on the Internet. It will be like a comic book but on-line with, hopfully, voice over from several (aspiring) actors.

 

Here’s the deal. I wrote two scripts and just starting my third. My first script is called ‘Stalker’; a horror sci-fi flick set in Iraq and Afghanistan. Think Predator but with a few twists and heaps more soul. Now, imagine a Diablo that will have the Predator curl up in a fetal position holding hands with the Alien, who, feverishly chewing on its nail while looking around nervously. The script is 120 pages long and will make a nice comic as well.

 

I’ve posted the first ten pages of Stalker at absolutewrite forum and got positive reviews. One guy said it’s pretty damn gritty. Not trying to gloat or anything but I'm just letting you know I don't suck. My grammar needs work but I got one hella imagination.

 

The second script I wrote is called ‘77 Mass’ and it’s an inner city drama sets in Los Angeles (where I grew up) about an African American gang banger who was accepted into MIT. It ain’t Finding Forester if that’s what you’re thinking. It’s more like Menace II Society with love. This isn't comic book material but it's so you know my range.

 

The one I started writing is called ‘Borahn’ which means ancient in my language. I actually wrote the prologue for this one four years ago but then decided to write Stalker first. Don't know why. Borahn is a fantasy flick unlike any other. It’s not LOTR so get that out of your head. :)

 

Both Borahn and Stalker are comic book materials so if anyone is interested in collaborating with me, please send me PM and we’ll skype about all the details. If we agree to do this, I’ll send you the scripts to read.

 

Or if you know someone who might be interested then, please, pass this message to the person. Now, if you're looking to make money from the get-go then you should look else where. However, I truly believe my scripts have potential. All they need is an creative artist with spunk. Who knows, if we do this right we could make it big. :)

 

P.S. I'm not a salesman so don't judge me by my souless pitch. heh But trust me, this high school drop out already put certain U.S.C. film school graduate to shame. :)

Thanks for putting the word out, theGozr. I appreaciate it. Thank you. I have a big move coming tomorrow so I'll be off line for a few days. Unfortunately, going from this broke ass mountain to the next which is 600+ kilometers away. lol Lemme get settled in then I'll post something at your forum.

 

Anyway, I'm not in a real hurry so if eventually you're interesteted then just send PM. Or if you just want me to read my script(s) to see what they're about, I'll send it. Always welcome a critique.
