Jigger Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 If I am in game mode, F18 keybindings work perfectly, just issue can't get off carrier and into the drink. If I am on sim mode, F18 keybindings don't work at all but can fly fine. If both on, into the drink, but keybindings work. I have not tried both off yet. My DCS is through Steam, so I would think all is up to date automatically, right? Even the joystick bindings are lost in sim. F15, F16, A10, F14 all work, it is just the F18 that I have issues with. Any ideas of what I may be doing wrong?
LeCuvier Posted February 3, 2021 Posted February 3, 2021 If you want to fly in sim mode you have to make sure that your key bindings are defined for sim mode. In Options/Controls, select the right module and mode. For the F/A-18C that is "F/A-18C Sim". In order to fly in sim mode, go to Options/Gameplay and make sure that both "Game Flight Mode" and "Game Avionics Mode" are un-ticked. Tired of going swimming...
