maxTRX Posted February 7, 2021 Posted February 7, 2021 (edited) Is there a reason why a radar directed pipper is not in the center (same as gun cross is) in this situation: I'm shooting off the engines on a cargo plane... as a test not a challenge Even if the radar decided that target's center mass was too close, shouldn't the pipper snap to the center? Tholozor Posted February 8, 2021 Posted February 8, 2021 (edited) At that close of a range, use the boresight cross, or undesignate and use the funnel. Remember that the piper is calibrated to the TD box, which is more or less the center of mass.
