Red flag timing

Hello all, 

 

im playing “red flag” for the f15, which is really good.

 

my only problem is the timing for the gathering and push points.

 

if I taxi as directed and take off last, as directed, I don’t have enough time to get there unless I’m on afterburner, which makes no sense since I waste a ton of fuel.  Anybody else have this issue ?  It seems to be with all the missions
