Salty Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 I am encountering a new issue where in the RIO pit, I enter my coordinate information IE: 54.44.2, 114.20.1, elevation 500 FT, Magvar 11.2 and once i am fully ground aligned i switch to INS and it deletes my coordinates. I go from 54.44.2 to 00.00.0 and 114.20.1 to 115.00.0 its only recently started like in the last 2-3 days ive noticed. I have not tried CVN alignment only GND for more info this was also using ASH and Multiplayer That was some of the best flying I've seen to date...right up to the part where you got killed
QuiGon Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 I fly the Tomcat as a RIO pretty regularly and have not encountered such an issue yet. Could you upload a track file showing this behaviour so we can take a look? Salty Posted March 12, 2021 Author Posted March 12, 2021 I've never done track files before so apologies if this isn't what you were asking but this should be my track file from that night https://drive.google.com/file/d/1It6AJASn4JPSfKQmxgK9iwUP3ZpCTNz4/view?usp=sharing That was some of the best flying I've seen to date...right up to the part where you got killed
Super Grover Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 Hey Salty, Did you enter your coordinates before you started alignment or after? Krzysztof Sobczak Heatblur Simulations https://www.facebook.com/heatblur/

Super Grover Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 When INS alignment starts, it initialises its position to the current hook waypoint or the own AC (if hooked). If you hook anything else or a waypoint that hasn't been initialised, the INS will reset to zero. That's only one possibility, but this is the first thing that comes to my mind. If you experience it again, could you share the mission and describe precisely all mods you used and the steps you took so that I can recreate it. Salty Posted March 12, 2021 Author Posted March 12, 2021 Will do, i also tried it in Single player on a quick start and had no issues despite doing everything the same way.
