tmansteve Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 I created a mission with 2 Client Hornets and then created 2 AI groups to follow. I gave them individual group names and when in flight found that I could not communicate with them. Will the AI only work if they are part of my group or can I give them individual group radio frequencies? Am I trying too much? It would be nice to be able to direct the groups to different targets and formations etc.
dark_wood Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 You can command from F10 comm menu only units from your group. In order to command other units/groups you will need separate triggers. 1
tmansteve Posted March 17, 2021 Author Posted March 17, 2021 (edited) Thanks dark wood. I thought that would be the case. You dont happen to know which triggers I should look at or direct me to? Cheers Edited March 17, 2021 by tmansteve
Exorcet Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 Look at the triggered actions menu. You can place different tasks in there for AI to follow. Then use the radio item add triggers to allow the player in the mission to activate the triggers through custom F10 radio options. I think this will work for client aircraft.
