EVGA GTX280 SUPERCLOCKED 1GB HDTV

I love maxing out my games  I'm VERY satisfied with my purchase.

check it out at http://www.pccyber.com/?v=product&i=VC-EVGA-01G-P3-1282-AR

Only downfall with this card, it required an upgrade on the power supply, so I went with a Corsair 750Watt.

I'm I a happy camper? :D Most definitely

My previous card was an Nvidia 8800GTS with 320Meg. Improvements with my new card are basically maxing out all my games. Even Crysis at full graphics with AA enable is playable. :D

Just found a great review on my video card. Pilotasso, this might give you a better idea on the improvements and the capability of the card. Most likely you already investigated it ;)

Yep. Its a pitty these new cards are meant to be played on future CPU's because they simply cant keep up with these monsters. I already pointed this out in my Gx2 review thread. At the time I invetigated my purchase it seemed to me that the 280 was more CPU demanding (not to mention power and my accoustic tolerance) than the Gx2.

Since the Gx2 had a much more firendly pricing and because I rarely play GFX bound games like FPS's I went for the Gx2.

I would like some more AA perfomance out of my Gx2 though. Its badly beaten by the 280 in this regard.

it would be interesting to benchmark all these cards in LOMAC. To see how much FPS you get for balancing GFX capabilities to their CPU demands.
